Zella Whittemore

Zella M. Whittemore, age 69 of Trenton, passed away at home on Wednesday, June 13, 2018.Zella was born in East Bernstadt, Kentucky on October 16, 1948 to Irvin and Georgia (Scott) Hensley. She enjoyed gardening, crafting, and spending time with her family. On January 29, 1965, she married Coy Whittemore and together they had two children.

Zella is survived by her daughters, Angie Smith and Anita (John) Hensley; her very special niece, Misty Mathews; her grandchildren, Steven Hensley, Michaelia (Donald) Dozier, Nathan Smith, Nevaeh, Landon, and Channing Mathews; her great grandchildren, Jasmine and Joanna Dozier; her siblings, Charles Hensley, Roy Hensley, Pauline Ingram, Wavie (James) Johnson, and Linda (Junior) Hollingsworth; and her very close friend, Dot Barge. Zella was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Coy Whittemore; her mother, Georgia Sizemore; her father, Irvin Hensley; and one infant sister.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 12:00 PM with Rev. Jacob Flannery officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. Burial will take place on Monday, June 18, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Butler County Memorial Park. www.browndawsonflick.com
