Zola Ashley

Zola Ashley, age 84 of Hamilton, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017. Zola was born in Perry County, Kentucky on October 8, 1932 to Charlie and Lula (Johnson) Hoskins. Zola was an avid and talented quilter; she also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She married William H. Ashley Sr. on September 10, 1955, enjoying 60 years of marriage until he passed away on February 27, 2015.

Zola is survived by her children, William H. (Dorothy) Ashley Jr., Doug (Teresa) Ashley, and Darlene Christie; her grandchildren, Leah (Dan), Lauren (Brendan), Lindsay, Matt, Megan (Marty), Amanda, and Neil; her great grandchildren, Zoe, Owen, Maddie, and Josephine. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Ashley Sr., 15 siblings, and her parents.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Monday, April 24, 2017 at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 24, 2017 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
