Zora Helen Huff

Zora Helen Huff, age 80 of Hamilton passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at 7:31PM. She was born in Jackson County, Kentucky on May 17, 1927 the daughter of Coltz and Laura (Angel) Gibson. Helen was employed at Miami University for 17 years, retiring in 1987. She was a lifetime member of the DAV in Middletown. On November 5, 1953 in Brookville, Indiana she married Sherman Huff, and he preceded her in death in 2005.

She is survived by a son, James Edward (Donna) Huff of Hamilton; three grandchildren, Cassandra, Jesse, and Cole; four brothers, Richard (Gladys) Gibson, Orville (Gloria) Gibson, Troy (Sharon) Gibson, all of Hamilton, and Raymond (Ruby) Gibson of Wyandotte, Michigan; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Johnny B. Gibson; and four sisters, Josie Satterfield, Nicey Mae Harris, Nancy Schwartz, and Barbara Deering.

Funeral service will be held at the Butler County Memorial Park Chapel, on Monday, April 14, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Roger Shaw of New Miami Wesleyan Church officiating. Burial will follow in Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the chapel on Monday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
