Albert William Metz, age 77 of Hamilton, Marine Veteran, passed away at Bradford Place on Monday, November 9, 2020. Albert was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on March 31, 1943 to Albert William Metz Sr. and Virginia Eva Teuschler Metz.

Albert William, most commonly referred to as Bill, loved spending time in nature. He especially loved gardening, enjoying the full process of watching something turn from seed to full bloom. He was a great writer and storyteller who loved making people laugh. Bill’s generosity was so great that he often gave more than he had but that is what made him happiest. He was a great teacher of compassion and unconditional love. Bill will be missed dearly and is loved eternally.

Albert is survived by his daughters, Andrea Metz, Suzanne Metz Baker, and Laura Jane Metz, stepchildren Jonathan Berger, Nathanial Berger, and Marni Berger, siblings Pam Disney(Charlie) Matt Metz(Cindy), and Jeanine Rapien(Mike), grandchildren Austin S. Baker and Samuel B. Baker and loving friend Megs Metz. Albert was preceded in death by his parents and brother Dennis L. Metz.
