Alma Croucher, age 87 of Hamilton, on Wednesday, November 24 at 7:50 PM stepped healed and whole into the embrace of her Savior, and the rejoicing of many loved ones. She was born in Barbourville, Kentucky on February 5, 1934 the daughter of Delmar and Mae (Willis) Strong. On April 29, 1950 in Hamilton, Ohio, she married Luther “Luke” Croucher and he preceded her in death on August 3, 2010. Alma was employed by the Butler County Auditor’s Office for more than thirty years, retiring in 2014. She was a member of Calvary Church for many years.
Alma is survived by her two children, Cindy (Rick) Harbrecht and Steven (Gwen) Croucher; one sister, Maxine Sandlin; one grandson, Eric Croucher; five great grandchildren, Kiersten (Tyler) Moore, Taylor and Luke Tillery, Hans Johnson, and Lily Johnson; four great great grandchildren, Lucas, Leon, Jozie, and Jaxx; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two siblings, Captolia Burke and Johnny Jackson; two grandchildren, Brian and Kim Johnson.
Funeral service will be held at Calvary Church, 2355 Jacksonburg Road, Hamilton, Ohio, on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 7:00 PM with Pastors Diane and Jim Mullins officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the church. Family and friends are welcome to meet at the church on Wednesday at 10:30 AM to process to Rose Hill Burial Park for a 11:00 AM committal service.
