Amy L. Garrett

Amy L. Garrett, age 60 of Camden, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Sunday, May 2, 2021. Amy was born in Clearwater, Florida on September 30, 1960 to Charles Dunaway and Ona Betty (Nunn) Dunaway. Amy enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.

Amy is survived by her children, Marchelo Dawayne Garrett, Latisha Hope Garrett and her fur baby Cheetah “Luv”; her grandchildren, Brianna Lawson, Jacob Linneman, Jasmine Smith, Quentyn Garrett, Shawn Garrett, Trevor Burdine and Brayden Burdine; her brothers, Charles (Alberta) Dunaway of Hamilton and John (Connie) Mcclanahan of Kentucky; her sister Pam (Jimmy) Walten of Camden; sister in laws, Tery Tatum of Somerville, Alice Tatum of Camden, Elsie Tatum of Hamilton, and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Amy was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Michael Wayne Garrett Jr; her former husband Michael Wayne Garrett Sr; and her brothers, Gary Wayne “Tommy” Tatum, Billy Bunaway, George Tatum, Boyd Tatum, and Jimmy Tatum.

Visitation will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton Ohio, on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 from 11:00 Am to 1:00 PM with service to follow with Pastor Dean Lunsford officiating. Burial will follow at Somerville Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Brown Dawson Flick for funeral arrangements.
