Anna M. Turner

Anna M. Turner, age 86 of Hamilton, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, October 12, 2016. She was born in Oneida, Kentucky on July 25, 1930 the daughter of Bill "Crowe" and Mary E. (Hornsby) Hacker. On November 8, 1944 in Manchester, Kentucky she married James L. Turner and he preceded her in death in 1997. Anna attended Freedom Chapel Church and was an avid reader.

Anna is survived by three children, Lana (Walt) Philpot of Hamilton, Larry (Kathy) Turner of Knob Lick, Kentucky, and Luther (Terri) Turner of Spring Hill, Tennessee; one brother, Oakley Hacker of Manchester, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Michelle (Denny) Deaton, Kris (Danny) Curtis, Lori Turner, Jay (Jamie) Turner, Joshua (Katrina) Philpot, and Anna Kuykendoll; a special nephew, Felix (Beth) Turner of Trenton: and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings, Luther Hacker, Mildred Morgan, Etha Kinder, and Opal Rogers.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Monday, October 17, 2016 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Walt Philpot of Freedom Chapel Church officiating. Burial will follow in Darrtown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to Freedom Chapel Church, 121 Ross Avenue, Hamilton 45013.
