Betty A. Gill

Betty “Elizabeth” Ann Gill (Baker), age 93, of Hamilton, Ohio passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023. She was born on September 17, 1929 in Hamilton, Ohio, the daughter of John W. Baker and Lillian (Knipper) Baker. On January 26, 1952, she married George A. Gill and he preceded her in death on October 20, 1979. Betty was employed by Mercy Hospital until the age of 83. She was a member of Queen of Peace Parish where she taught Sunday School, was a Eucharistic Minister, and was a member of the choir.

Betty is survived by her children, Ruth Frankey, George Michael (Becky) Gill, John (Linda) Gill, Larry Gill, Kenneth (Susan) Gill and Rob (Cheyenne) Gill; grandchildren, Brian, Dominic, Matthew, Sean, Mackenzie, Joshua, Elizabeth, Kimberly, Brandon, Keilah, Noah, and Nathanael; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and sibling Mary (Bob) Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Ruth Baker, William Baker, and Robert Baker; son-in-law, Mike Frankey; and sisters-in-law, Evelyn Baker and Sylvia Baker.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 5, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 2550 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio with Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at St. Stephens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society in memory of Betty Gill.
