Betty J. Rowland

Betty J. Rowland, age 80, formerly of Hamilton, passed away in Hillsboro, Ohio on Tuesday September 5,2023. Betty was born on July 23,1943 and was raised in Seven Mile by the late George William Platt and Ona Lee (Shipp) Platt.  Betty loved playing the piano in church and singing hymns.

Betty is survived by her daughters, Deborah (Rob) Dake and Molly (Doug) Saunders; her grandchildren, Pamela (Dave) Spencer, Christiana (Ryan) Joseph, William Scott Saunders, Jeremy (Danielle) Armstrong, Emily (Brian) Tighe and four great grandchildren, Autumn Harvey, Tristin Harvey, Hunter and Lilly Armstrong; 2 Sisters, Sylvia Jean Van Ocker and Jackie (Jack) Shied as well as many nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Rowland; 5 Brothers, Douglas Platt, Curtis Platt, Donald Platt, Jimmy Day and Eugene Day; 2 Sisters, Irene Day and Mary Elenor Wilson, and her birth parents Ollie and Nana Day.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 2:00 PM in Darrtown Cemetery in Darrtown, Ohio.
