Betty Jean Isaacs

Betty Jean Isaacs, age 88 of New Miami, passed away surrounded by her loved ones at home on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. Betty was born in Lone Mountain, Tennessee on September 4, 1935 to James and Ida Mae (nee Overholt) Bunch. On December 27, 1950, in New Miami, Ohio, she married the love of her life, William “Bill” Isaacs. Together they raised six children and numerous grandchildren. Betty Jean was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandma, who will be dearly missed.

Betty is survived by her children, Marva (the late Sonny) Johnson of Bradley, Arkansas, Finley Robert “Bob-I” (Kim Holland) Isaacs of Hamilton and Butch Isaacs of New Miami; her grandchildren, Ronnie (Kim) Bowman, Laura Nicole Bowman, Steven “Snook” Isaacs, Rhonda Morris, Rob, Brad, and Timmy Wallace, Summer McDaniel, Bobby Isaacs Jr. and Natasha (Jason) York; great grandchildren, Ronnie, Brooke, Makenna, Brody, Gavin, Walker, Chelsey, Tasha, Chase, Jaylen, Kohen, Tristan, Sara, Amanda, Audrey Jacxson, Brandon, Jonathan, Dwight, ShyAnn, Jamison, Brittany, John, Kaylee, Haven, Tesla, Kaleb, Jackobe, Brayden, Denver and Breanna; numerous great great-grandchildren; her siblings, Larry (Jackie) Bunch, Christine (the late Junior) Greenlee and Louise Cameron; a special friend, Danny Weaver; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her husband, William “Bill” Isaacs; her daughters, Audrey Bowman, and Leslie “Gail” Isaacs; her son, Billy Isaacs; her grandchildren, Jonathon Isaacs, and Angelina Moore; her great-grandson, Jordan; her siblings, Donnie Brooks and Ewing Brooks.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Monday, September 18, 2023 at 1:00 PM.  Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Monday, September 18, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
