Brian Shelby Emmert, age 66 of Trenton, passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022. Brian was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on September 5, 1955 to the late Richard Emmert and Dorothy (Neubacher) Stone. Brian previously worked for Ace – Greenlawn, Waste Management, and most recently, for Hamilton City Schools Transportation. He was an active member of Edgewood Baptist Church, where he enjoyed playing guitar and banjo in the church band. Above all, Brian loved his family and the Lord. He will be dearly missed.
Brian is survived by his wife, Connie Emmert; his sons, Shelby (Jill) Rawlins and Curtis (Jamie) Emmert; his daughters, Natasha (Troy) Purdin and Tiffany Boyd; his grandchildren, Alexis, Nathan, Liam, Ivan, Misa, Casper, Gage, Paeton, Christian, Nevaeh, Gaven, Felicity, Annabelle, and Casey, Jr.; his great-grandchildren, Lucas and Ariella; his siblings, Richard (Amy) Emmert, Mary Emmert, Wanda Gross, and Timmy (Carrie) Stone; as well as many extended family members and close friends.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents; his grandchildren, Jalyn, Charisma, and Bianca; his brother, Rick Emmert.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 9, 2022 from 4:00 PM until the time of his Funeral Service at 6:00 PM at Edgewood Baptist Church, 1010 W. State St, Trenton, OH 45067 with Pastor Keith Risner officiating. Burial will take place on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 12:00 NOON at Butler County Memorial Park.
