Candace (Spotted Horse) Wright

Candace Michelle Spotted Horse-Wright, age 56 of Anadarko, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021. Candi was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 7, 1964 to Virgil and Rachel (nee Bosin) Spotted Horse. Candi graduated from Finneytown High School. She married Steven Guy Wright, who preceded her in death. Candi was a loving mother that raised her son single handedly. She was a member of the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma. Candi loved her frybread, Indian tacos and Coca-Cola. In her later years, her health was declining and was taken care of by her son and daughter-in-law. She loved watching all the classic TV shows and game shows.

Candi is survived by her son, Robert (Michelle) Spotted Horse; her grandkids, Coda Smith, Cole Smith, Aaron Smith and Shelby Messer; her sisters, Robbie Smith and Agnes West; her niece and nephews, Wayne, Michael and Kyle West, Timmy Mueller and Jason and Angie Spotted Horse; and numerous nieces and nephews, family members and friends. Candi was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Rachel Spotted Horse; her sisters, Eva DeLuca and Roberta Mueller; and her brother, Jerry Scott Spotted Horse.

Memorial service will be held in Oklahoma at a later date.
