Cecelia Faye Atwood

Cecelia Faye Atwood, age 79 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Wednesday, November 17, 2021. Faye was born in Wyoming County, West Virginia on December 11, 1941 to Henry and Hazel Ruth (nee Ledford) Caldwell. Faye married Hershel Atwood in 1964, he preceded her in death in 1986. She worked at West Haven Nursing Home for many years. Faye was a loving and caring mom and granny and she knew no stranger. 

Faye is survived by her children, Otis (fiancé, Deanna) Atwood, Shawnie (Eddie) McIntosh Jr., Kimberly Atwood, Belinda Atwood and Wanda (Michael) Eschenbrenner; her step-children, Donald (Brenda) Atwood, Linda Holland, Darrell (Cindy) Atwood and Mike Atwood; her grandchildren, Ronnie (Chasity) Bryant, Marissa (Steven) Tettenhorst, Brett Bryant, Tyler McIntosh, Arron (fiancé, Tiffani) Bryant, Kayla (Jimmy) O’Hagan, Leighann (William) Bryant, Brandon Eschenbrenner, Tracie (Justin) Dye, Serena Banks, Caleb Banks, Donnie (Tasha) Atwood, Tammy Atwood, Tiffany Shoemaker and Cayden Singleton; her 25 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Sue Grinnell, Elizabeth (Charles) Johnson and Danny (the late Renae) Edwards; and many nieces and nephews. Faye was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hershel Atwood; and her step-sons, Randall and Garland Atwood.

Visitation will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park.
