Cecil Estes Obituary

Cecil Clyde Estes, age 86 of Hamilton, passed away at Berkeley Square Nursing Home on Friday, July 9, 2021. He was born in Harlan, Kentucky on February 23, 1935. Cecil was a veteran of the Korean War with the United States Army from 1954 to 1956. He was employed by the Talawanda School District for numerous years, before his retirement. Cecil was a lifetime member of the Hamilton Church of God. On May 30, 1957 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana he married Betty Pickering and she preceded him in death in 2014.

Cecil is survived by four siblings, George (Vickie) Estes, Nellie Lucille (Bear) Lankster, Ralph Estes, and Walter Estes; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cecil was preceded in death by his mother, Rosa Lee Estes; three siblings, Pete Estes, Betty Richardson, and Nancy Moore; a special nephew, Chad Edward Estes; and a sister-in-law, Barb Estes.

Private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations can be directed to the Hamilton Church of God, 1760 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45013.
