Charles Ray Bowling

Charles Ray Bowling, age 85 of Fairfield, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2016. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on July 31, 1931 to Leonard and Dora Bowling. Ray retired from Talawanda School District in 1990 after 32 years.

Ray is survived by his children, Jim (Debbie) Bowling, Sherry (Ed) Abner, Susan Noonan, and Alane Taylor; a sister, Norma Jean Rogers; a special friend, Gayle Baker; grandchildren, Brandon (Becky) Taylor, Nicole Bowling, Chad Taylor, Charity Nichols, Ronda (Jamal)Bowling, Alicia (Danny) Taylor, Kristen Spahni, Ashley (Cody) Bowling, Whitney Noonan, Jim Noonan, and Peyton Abner; and great grandchildren, Maddie, Cameron, Latencia, Jazmyn, Nate, Daryan, Devin, Jaycee, Morgan, Chad, Amare, Amiah, Ava, Reece, and Essie. He was preceded in death by a brother, Dale Bowling; and his parents.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Monday, November 14, 2016 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Jacob Flannery officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 14, 2016 from 11:30AM to 1:00PM at the funeral home.
