Coleen Barger

Coleen Barger, age 80 of Hamilton, passed away at Fort Hamilton Hospital on Tuesday, August 24, 2021. Coleen was born in Bowlingtown, KY on September 27, 1940 to Roy L. Smith and Ota (Barger) Smith.  On July 25, 1958 she married Thomas Barger, and he preceded her in death in 1999.  Coleen loved to travel, and loved spending time with her family. 

Coleen is survived by her two sons, Bryan (Laura) Barger, Kevin (Karena) Barger; her grandchildren, Katrina Schoellhamer, Ashley (Cody) Ledington, Mark (Katie) Benge, Allison Barger, and Mckinsey Barger; her great grandchildren, Pepper, Paisley, Joslynn, Ace, and Avery; her siblings, Colbert Smith, Stephanie Ann Stout, and Madeline Joy Brinegar. Coleen was preceded in death by her parents; her spouse, Thomas M. Barger; one daughter, Karen Schoellhamer; one great grandson, Braiden Kemen.

Graveside service will be held at Rose Hill Burial Park, 2421 Princeton Road, Hamilton, Ohio, on Monday, August 30, 2021 at 10:00 AM.  Family and friends are welcome to meet in the front parking lot at the cemetery and we will process back to the grave together at 10:00AM.
