Daniel G. Evers

Daniel G. Evers, age 57 of Wilmington, passed away at his residence on Thursday, June 9, 2022. Daniel “Danny” was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 21, 1964 to Daniel J. Evers and Mary Nell (Carroll) Evers. He graduated from Stephen T. Badin High School, and received his Bachelor’s Degree from Miami University (President of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity), and his Master’s Degree from Xavier University. Daniel was the Executive Director of the Port Authority of Clinton County OH.  He was a leader in Economic Development throughout the State of Ohio.  He was a Paul Harris Fellow for the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International.  Daniel served on several boards, and was very active in the Wilmington OH community.  He touched too many lives to list, but Daniel lived for his family and his friends.  Dan was so proud of his children. 

Daniel is survived by his children, Margaret (Matthew) Shamp, Drew Evers, Dylan Evers; his grandson, Nick Matthew Shamp; his fiancé, Julie Bolton; his parents, Daniel J. Evers and Mary Nell Evers; his brother, Michael Evers; his sister-in-law Sandy Evers; and numerous nieces and nephews. Daniel was preceded in death by his brother, Nick Evers.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, OH 45011. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 2550 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 11:00 AM with Fr. James Wedig of Queen of Peace Catholic Church celebrant. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Stephen T. Badin High School and The Murphy Theatre in Wilmington Ohio. For those who can’t attend if you can take the time to see a sunset and think of Dan.
