Danny Joe Carroll

Danny Joe Carroll, age 38, of Ross, Ohio, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, May 17, 2022. He was born in Hamilton Ohio on May 13,1984. Danny was a graduate of Ross High School. Danny was charismatic with a contagious smile that brightened every room he entered. He loved to entertain and could tell a story like no other. His sense of humor ensured that every story would provide laughter and his flair for the dramatic made everyone a member of his audience. He was, without fail, the life of the party. Danny had a natural ability to make everyone feel included and comfortable, and he was faithful to extend love in this way. In his 38 short years among us, he touched the lives of many. Danny’s passing creates a void in the hearts of his family and friends.

Sports were a source of joy for Danny and an important part of his life. His love for baseball began the first time he picked up a ball. Danny was an amazing athlete. He was a living illustration of the concept of a true team player. He valued the relationships he built on the ball field. Those he played beside became his family and his family’s family as well. He will forever be known as DC on the ballfield.

Danny is preceded in death by his grandparents Bill Carroll, Daisy Combs, and Ron Huff. Danny is survived by his parents Danny and Cindy Carroll, two sisters, Kristin Sizemore and husband, Jonathan, Erika Carroll, his brother, Chris Carroll and wife Leslie, his beloved cousin Jesse Norton, his nieces, Kloe Sizemore Ball and Jonna Klaire Sizemore, and his nephew and buddy, Briley Collett. He is also survived by his grandmother, Janet Huff, his uncles Joe Carroll and wife, Diane, Matt Carroll and wife, Stacy, David Carroll, and Danny Huff and wife, Sherry, his aunt Penny Carroll and Richard Brown, his cousins, Tom Norton, Cody Norton, Kerstin Anderson, Katie Carroll, Nikki Huff, Jessica Huff, and Cory Huff, and many extended family members and friends.

The family would like to offer their heartfelt gratitude to Michael Campbell, who gave us eight more precious years with our Danny. We could never thank you enough.
Danny Carroll will be carried to his resting place by his beloved friends and family including Chris Carroll, Joe Carroll, Jesse Norton, Dustin Huff, Tom Heim, Chris Gaston, Sr., and Bryon Stanton.
