Danyell L. Weisinger, age 46 of Hamilton, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2023. Danyell was born in Hamilton, Ohio on December 29, 1976 to Danny Chipman and Linda (Humphrey) Chipman. She was a graduate of Hamilton High School and worked for 15 years with the Hamilton City Schools, and as a bank teller at PNC in Deerfield Township. Danyell loved the Lord, watching reality shows, playing bingo, and participating in online auctions. She also enjoyed travelling, spending time with her daughter, and sharing her story with the world.
In February of 2020 she was diagnosed with peritoneal mesothelioma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer that affects only 500-600 Americans each year. Further testing indicated that Danyell had a gene called BRCA, which is a common cause of breast cancer. Danyell wanted to fight for herself, her husband, and her daughter. “Even with the most grim diagnosis, there’s still hope, and with God all things are possible. That’s my motto, that’s what I live by and I don’t live in fear. I live in hope and prayer.”
Danyell is survived by her husband of 26 years, Dave Weisinger; her daughter, Cheska Weisinger; brothers, Jeff (Janice) Chipman, William Chipman, and Larry Goins; mother-in-law, Bessie Feeler; and numerous other relatives and friends. Danyell was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, DeWanna Chipman; and father-in-law, Merle Feeler.
