Denise Morris Obituary

Denise Morris, age 57 of Hamilton, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2024. Denise was born in Augusta, Georgia on May 8, 1966 to David Bergeron and Marcella (Dawson) Bergeron. Family was everything to Denise, especially the children of her family and friends. Her smile and laughter were contagious, and she brought sunshine into every room she entered. Denise was selfless and would do anything for anyone without question. In her spare time, she loved crafting, bowling, bingo, GLITTER, and going to the beach with her hair and nails done.

Denise is survived by her husband, Chuck Morris; daughters, Hannah (Cody Kammeron) Morris and Nina (Stan) Ellington; mother, Marcella Bergeron; sister, Michele (Wendell) Brandenburg; granddaughter, Jenna (Jakob Poe) Ellington; nephew, Chase (Nicole) Brandenburg and their children, Cayden and a baby boy on the way; niece, Casie (Graham Schaeper) Brandenburg and their children, Dylan, Kendall and Miles; goddaughter, Holly (Charles) Cappelle; aunts, Juanita Brown and Billie Jean Evans; brothers-in-law, James Morris, Mike (Pam) Morris, and Denver (Kimberly) Morris; and numerous other relatives and friends. Denise was preceded in death by her father, David Bergeron, and grandparents, Richard and Christine Dawson.

A Celebration of Life will be announced by the family at a later date.
