Donald Douglas Bryant

Donald Douglas Bryant, age 65 of Hamilton passed away at Christ Hospital on November 23, 2008. He was born in Hamilton on February 5, 1943 the son of Elbert Donald and Donna (McCowan) Bryant. Donald was a nine year veteran of the United States Navy and retired as an Aviation Mechanic for the Federal Government.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Bryant; mother, Donna F. Swindoll; four brothers, Randy and his wife Wanda, Pat and his wife Maida, Bruce and his wife Irene, and Joel and his wife Cindy; sister, Sandra (Bryant) Wright and her husband Robert; his daughter, Crystal Smith and her husband Christopher; his son, Donny Bryant; four grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and his sister, Carol (Bryant) Crane.

Visitation will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Wednesday, November 26, 2008 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon. Private service with Pastor Don Dewey of St. Clair Avenue Baptist Church officiating will follow. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
