Donna Reimels

Donna Reimels passed peacefully in her Hamilton, Ohio home on January 24, 2024.  Donna Stulpin was born in Brockton, Massachusetts on September 28, 1954, the only daughter of Raymond and Helena (Saba) Stulpin.  She was the sister to two brothers, both who predeceased her, Michael (Mickey) and Raymond Stulpin.

Donna was a graduate of Brockton High School and lived in the city when she met and married her husband, the love of her life, William Reimels.  There she gave birth to her two sons, Greg and Brian. Greg and Brian were her proudest accomplishments and she relished being a mother.

After raising Greg and Brian in Brockton until middle school, the family moved to Scituate, Massachusetts and then to West Chester, Pennsylvania where Greg and Brian graduated high school and college.

Donna and Bill then embarked on a new stage of their lives, moving to Santa Barbara and then Oceanside, California, living in the Golden State from 2005 to 2021. Enjoying the California sunshine and the near perfect weather wasn’t enough, however, and Donna and Bill soon adopted two dogs, Sammy and Maxine.  They loved them (almost) as much as her two sons. After Sammy and Maxine came Nash and Lola, and Donna and Bill became doting dog parents.

Donna and Bill eventually made their way to Hamilton, Ohio to be closer to their granddaughter Sophia (Sophie), who she especially cherished.  Donna was a proud grandmother who loved seeing Sophia grow into a strong and wonderful young woman.

Donna loved to tell family members and strangers alike about her Lebanese heritage and liked to cook Middle Eastern staples such as bitlawa (baklava), three corners, and grape leaves.  Donna also enjoyed regaling people with her Boston accent wherever she went. She loved to travel, and with Bill, crisscrossed the globe, from Europe to Hawaii and many stops along the way.

Donna leaves behind her loving husband, Bill, her son Greg and his wife Tiffany, her son Brian and his husband Justin, her granddaughter Sophia, and Nash and Lola.

A funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 12:00 PM.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.  Donna’s ashes will be scattered at a later date.
