Effie M. Petree

Effie M. Petree, age 80 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Saturday, November 6, 2021. Effie was born in Hamilton, Ohio on March 18, 1941 to the late Newell Joseph and Janie Marie (Little) Jones.

Effie is survived by her children, Anthony Joseph Jones, Jamie Petree, and John Petree; her grandchildren, Melissa Massey, John Petree Jr., and Jessica Nicole Petree; her sisters, Carol Ann Wells, Janet Miller, Joan Canafax, and Linda Cowan; as well as many extended family members and friends.

Effie was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Petree; her son, James D. Petree; and many siblings.

Funeral services will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 12:00 NOON.  Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 NOON at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
