Eula (Feltner) Cody

Eula (Feltner) Cody, age 86, of Fairfield, OH, passed away at Hospice of Cincinnati on Thursday, January 12, 2022. Eula was born on August 23, 1935 in Toulouse, KY to George & Nannie (Wooten) Feltner. Eula retired from General Motors in Dayton, OH after 29 years of service.

Eula was a member of Pater Avenue Free Pentecostal Church of God where she was very active. Eula was one of the several singers in the church. Many said she had the voice of an angel. She loved cooking for the different functions of the church.

Eula will be dearly missed by her three children and her grandson, Kathie (Roberts) Moderwell of Fairfield, OH, Eugene Roberts of Pennsylvania, Timothy Ray Roberts of Phoenix, AZ and grandson, Joshua D. Moderwell of Fairfield, OH & her many nieces and nephews.

Eula is reunited in Heaven with her grandson, Jeremy William Roberts; both of her parents; her four brothers, Shafter Feltner, Herschel Feltner, Orville Feltner & Johnny Quatro; and her two sisters, Pauline (Feltner) Neace & Lily (Feltner) Neace.

Eula was also lovingly known as “Sister Mom” by several church family members & also as “Gigi” by family members.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at the Pater Avenue Free Pentecostal Church of God, 1321 Pater Avenue, Hamilton, OH from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM with services starting at 1:30 PM. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Hospice of Cincinnati for the wonderful care and compassion they showed to Eula and family members.
