Garland "Bruce" Berryman

Garland "Bruce" Berryman of Hamilton, OH passed on December 21, 2016. Born February 9, 1939 in Estill County, Kentucky to Cecil and Celia Berryman. He moved to Ohio in 1956 and married Connie Schiely in June of 1957. Bruce was the CEO of Berryman Brick and Block Company, for over 50 years in the Tri-State Areas. He leaves hundreds of homes and commercial building standing with his signature. Bruce prided himself on providing superior workmanship and fair employment where he was a father figure to many young men whom he taught his craft, as well as, his work ethic throughout the years. Bruce loved hunting, fishing, antique cars, and to invent ways to be more efficient in everything he did. He loved being with family, but most of all he loved when his grand and great grandchildren came to visit. He provided them with the resources to learn to swim, fish, hunt, play all sorts of sports; basketball being his favorite.

Bruce is survived by his wife of sixty years, Connie; his children, Kimberly Berryman of Hamilton, OH, Olana "Denise" Martin of Miami, FL, Janet (Larry) Lewis of Franklin, OH, Ericka Davidge of Oxford, OH, James (Candice) Berryman of Hamilton, OH, and Brian (Nikki) Boomershine of West Chester, OH; his four sisters, Gaye (Wendal) Dennis of Lexington, Ky, Nancy Pucket of Winchester, Ky, Judith Brown of Gainsville, FL, and Pamela (Daryl) Todd of Richmond, KY; his twelve grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews, as well as, many devoted friends. Bruce is proceeded in death by his parents; his son, Garland Bruce Berryman Jr; his daughter Lori Anne Krauth; and his two sisters, Janice Rose and Cathy Berryman.

Celebration of life service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 1:00 PM with Chaplain Larry Taylor officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Berryman Scholarship Fund at the LCNB Bank, 30 W Park Place Oxford, Ohio 45056.
