James Daniel Petrey

James Daniel Petrey, age 67 of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023. Known to most as Danny, he was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 24, 1956 to the late James Edward Petrey and Lorene (Cotton) Petrey.

Danny was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also a dedicated Bengals and OSU fan, although he did enjoy watching the Wildcats play from time to time. At home, he liked watching Westerns, but above all, he loved spending time with his family.

Danny will be dearly missed by his siblings, Lisa (Jeremy) Godsey, Frank (Cindy) Petrey, and Francine Kitelinger; his nieces, Stephene, Casey, and Michaela; his nephews, Jason, Corey, and Joseph; as well as many extended family members and friends.

Danny is reunited in Heaven with his beloved wife, Dana Marie Petrey.

A Graveside Service will be held at Hickory Flat Cemetery on Morganthaler Road in Hamilton, Ohio, on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 1:00 PM.
