James “Jim” H. Benge, age 59 of Hamilton, passed away at UC West Chester Hospital on Sunday, January 23, 2022. James was born in Richmond, Indiana on July 28, 1962 to Thomas Benge and Barbara (Jewell) Benge. On August 19, 1988 in Hamilton, he married Tami Boothe. He was a United States Navy Corpsman serving from 1984-1987. Jim worked as a truck driver for the past 30 years at Deceuninck North America. He was a member of Hamilton Christian Center, and also attended Hamilton Dream Center. Jim was a lifelong animal lover, and enjoyed riding his Can-Am Spyder.
James is survived by his loving wife, Tami Benge; his children, Jamie (Jared) Brady, Julie Benge, George Benge; one granddaughter, Samantha (Tony) Keith; and looking forward to being a first time great grandpa this summer; his father in law, Jacob Boothe; and many special aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. James was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Barbara Benge; his mother in law, Ann Boothe.
Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Wendell Coning of Hamilton Dream Center officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to His Hands Extended Sanctuary, 1560 Dialton Rd. St. Paris, OH 43072.
