Jamie R. Rogers

Jamie R. Rogers, age 50 of College Corner, passed away at Fort Hamilton Hospital on Sunday, April 30, 2023. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on October 16, 1972 to Lawrence Rogers and Marilyn Sue (Gordon) Rogers. 

Jamie was a lifelong baseball player and union carpenter. But above all Jamie was a family man, the number one dad, and the best papaw to his grandchildren. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping, softball and spending time with his family. Jamie found interest in the space station, he always knew right where they were, and he was also the type to never need a map. He was the person for directions. Jamie never met a stranger, and he will be greatly missed by many.

Jamie is survived by his wife, Bonita Rogers, his children, Michelle (Shamus) Rogers, Ryan (Summer) Rogers, Morgan (Tyler) Rogers, Alissa (Will) Reasch, Aaron (Heather) Wyatt, Zachary (Sierra) Wyatt, Taylor (Jordan) Chaney; his siblings, Tim (Jennis) Rogers, Lori (Darrell) Rogers, Tony (Lori) Rogers; grandchildren, Nathan, Chastin, Kylie, Landon, Braedyn, Callie, Rylee, Carter, Owyn, Rylan, Aubrey, Hunter, Cleo, Harper, Sage, and one on the way, Sky; his two sister-in-laws, Debbie and Judi Rogers; his many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Jamie was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Rogers and Marilyn Sue Rogers; his siblings, Teddy Rogers, Randy Rogers, Bobby Rogers, and Terry Rogers; his nephew Little Randy Rogers, and great nephew Mason Hays; his father and mother in law, David and Eula Church.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May  8, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, Pershing Avenue. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Tuesday, May  9, 2023 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Curtus Moak, officiating.  Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
