Jeffrey L. Napier

Jeffrey Lynn Napier, age 63 of Hamilton, passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Friday, June 3, 2023. Jeffrey was born in Hamilton, Ohio on August 29, 1959, to Harold Napier and Anna (Connelly) Easter.  Jeff was a friend to all and a coach to many. To meet him was to love him. He had a way to make an impression on everyone he met that you could not forget. He was the most generous person and was a friend for life. Jeff was an avid sportsman. He loved volleyball and played golf whenever he could. As a coach, he was extremely passionate about teaching others the game. He was so proud of all “his girls” no matter what sport he was coaching. Jeff was a wonderful father. Him and his kids would spend time building derby cars together, they always gave the best help. Jeff was so proud of his children and all their accomplishments.

Jeff worked most of his life in construction but was able to achieve his lifelong dream of being a bar owner when he and his wife established Overtime Bar and Grill in 2013. He was so proud of the business they built and the circle of friends that grew out of that experience. Jeff will always be remembered for his fun loving spirit, his zest for life and his ability to tell a story. Jeff will be truly missed by so many. 

Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Linda Napier; his children, Jessica Napier, Clay Napier, and Cole Napier; his sisters, Julie Napier, Gae (Doug) Adams, and Juatana Johnson; grandchildren, Dalton Croucher and Westen Napier.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Easter; father, Harold Napier; his sister, Jan Demarest.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2023, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton 45011. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, June 16, 2023, at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, Millville Avenue, with Rev. Johnny Wade Sloan officiating.
