Jeremy Daniel Flaker, age 36, of Cincinnati, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021 in Bradenton, Florida. On March 5, 1984 he was born to Cindy Ferry and Ric Flaker. Jeremy attended Northwest High School then graduated from Fairfield High School Class of 2002. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the United States Coast Guard, where he served for 11 years. During his time in the Coast Guard, Jeremy was awarded numerous medals, ribbons and commendations, including The Presidential Unit Citation. While stationed in Michigan, he was a dedicated volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. Most recently, Jeremy was attending trade school in Florida. He was an avid Ohio State Fan and enjoyed UC Basketball. Jeremy will be remembered for his infectious laugh and sense of humor. He will be missed dearly by those who loved him.
Jeremy is survived by his daughters, Halle and Kloe; his mother, Cindy (Jim) Cobb; his father, Ric (Sherry) Flaker; his siblings, Tina (Dave) Schweizer, Jeffery Flaker and Morgan (Steven) Kirgiss; his nephews, Dylan and Maverick; his grandmother, Norma Angel; his grandparents, Charles and Barb Cook; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 22nd, 2021 from 5:00pm – 6:30pm at Fairfield West Baptist Church, address. Memorial service to follow at 6:30pm at the church. Due to the public health concerns, please wear a mask and practice social distancing. A graveside ceremony will be held in the spring at his final resting place.
