Jerry Wayne Courts Sr., age 79 of Hamilton, passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 26, 2021. Jerry was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 30, 1942 to Raymond and Annabelle (nee Patten) Courts. He attended Princeton High School. Jerry enlisted in the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War. After the Army, he was in sales for many years in the water purification business.
Jerry loved his Kids and enjoyed spending time throughout the years bonding over the love they all had for music. His love for his grandkids was undeniable. They meant the world to him in every way. He was so proud to be their Old G, “Gramps”.
Jerry is survived by his sons, Jerry Wayne Courts Jr. and Justin Wayne (Ashley) Courts; his daughter, Melissa Lee (Tom) Dehner; his grandchildren, Nicholas (Brooke) Foret, Melody Kandil, Ryan (Michelle) Courts and TJ Dehner; his great-grandson, Hunter Foret; his sisters, Joyce Shulse and Geneva (Kelly) Jones; and numerous nephews and nieces. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; his grandson, Donovan McQueen; and his sisters, Liz Mount and Judy Thomas.
Celebration of Life to be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Trump Organization, so we can get our country back in order, or to the American Diabetes Association.
