John Dale Bailey

John Dale Bailey, age 63 of Trenton, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023. John was born in Middletown, Ohio on September 24, 1960 to Henrietta Kai (Williams) Bailey and the late Jack Thomas Bailey. John graduated from Edgewood High School, class of 1979 and attended Clarke Technical College where he earned a degree in Agricultural Engineering. He worked briefly at Armco Steel before going to work for R.E. Jones and then to Parsons & Prows, where he retired after over 30 years of service.

John was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed turkey shoots, horseshoes, and cornhole. John also enjoyed restoring tractors and going to tractor pull competitions. John will be remembered for his kindness and compassion, shown through his soft spot for animals and the love that he had for his family and friends.

John is survived by his son, Johnathan (Sara) Thomas Bailey; his grandchildren, Addison, Jackson, and Mason; his mother, Henrietta Kai Bailey; his siblings, Jeffery (Cathy) Bailey, Jacqueline (Steve) Kling and James (Stephanie) Bailey; his nieces & nephews, Isabella, Mia, James, Yannick, and Allison; as well as many extended family members and friends.

John was preceded in death by his father, Jack Thomas Bailey.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, November 26, 2023 from 2:00 PM until the time of his Memorial Service at 4:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., Hamilton, OH 45013.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be gifted to Messiah Lutheran Church, 4715 Holly Ave., Middletown, OH 45044.
