Judith J. Kaufman

Judith J. Kaufman, 83, of Fairfield, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023. She was born to parents Martin and Helen (Siegfried) Thompson, on September 5, 1940, in Cambridge, Ohio.

Judy married David Kaufman on May 21, 1960, in Nankin, Ohio. Together they raised 3 children: Don, Scott and Kelley.

She is survived by her children, Don (Cindy) Kaufman, Kelley (Mark) Petri and her brother George (Kathy) Thompson.  Judy is preceded in death by her husband Dave of 47 years, her son Scott, her parents and 12 brothers and sisters. 

Judy was a loving wife and mother who cared deeply for her family.  She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her friends.  She was as funny as she was ornery, and everyone seemed to enjoy her sense of humor.  She loved to drive even if that meant taking the longer route because that's what she felt comfortable with.  Judy loved to play Bingo with friends at the Community Center as well as her favorite game, the Horse Game with Don and Cindy.

We are forever blessed to have had her in our lives and she will be sadly missed.

The family has entrusted Brown-Dawson-Flick with the arrangements.

A private ceremony for the family is scheduled for November 22, 2023, at 12:00 PM in the Garden of Christus at Ashland County Memorial Park.
