Karen L. (Zoz) Petree

Karen Louise Petree nee Zoz, age 56 of Hamilton, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2022. Karen was born in Boone County, Kentucky on October 9, 1965 to William Zoz and Vivian L. Howard.  Karen was a long time employee of 30 years at Frisch’s, West Hamilton. She frequented the Towne Pub in Hamilton and enjoyed going to Miami Valley Gaming. Karen loved spending time in her garden and time with her grandson.

Karen is survived by her daughter, Amber L. Petree; her grandson, James Petree; her sister, Darlene Zoz; her brothers, Eddie Baker, Barry Harmon and Michael Zoz; and nieces and nephews. She leaves behind special friends, Jimmy Brainard, John Jarvis, “Grandma” Lucille Simmons and many friends and loyal customers. Karen was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles; and her brother, William A. Zoz.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 9, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45011. Graveside service will be held at Arlington Memorial Gardens, 2145 Compton Road, Cincinnati, Ohio, on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 12:00 PM.
