Kathleen "Kathy" Sue Dakin

Kathleen “Kathy” Sue Dakin, age 68 of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away at her residence on June 1, 2022. She was born August 19, 1953 in Newark, Ohio to the late Mabel Ellen Hutson and Richard Leon Hutson.

Kathy is survived by her caring and loving husband of 29 years, Terry Dakin; her daughters, Tammy Sue Catterton (Richard Catterton), Marsha Ellen Dakin; her step-son, Tad Dakin and step-daughter Stacey Stamper; her grandchildren, Jacob Catterton (Cindy Catterton), Malachai Dakin, Walker Dakin (Juliette Dakin), Austin Stamper, Rebecca Catterton, Lily Dakin, Ashley Stamper, her great-grandchildren, Isobel Davis, Kylie McNeil, Saunter Dakin, Jackson Catterton; her sister, Pam Tarbox and brother, James Hutson; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Patricia Ann Irwin.

She was a friend to all, and “Grandma” to even more. Kathy retired 7 years ago from Schaeffer’s Investment Research, a job that she truly loved and where she made lifelong friends. Kathy loved planning trips and vacations with her friends and family. Life to Kathy was an adventure she took charge of. Those who knew her best will remember her as a stubborn, fun loving, confident, list making woman who would do anything that you needed of her.

Per Kathy’s wishes there will be no services.
