Kelvin Eugene Rogers, age 64 of Hamilton, passed away at his residence on Sunday, August 30, 2020. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on September 18, 1955 to Irwin and Dorothy (Brockman) Rogers. Kelvin was a veteran of Vietnam with the United States Army from 1972 to 1973. On June 10, 2000 he married Vickie Davidson. Kelvin was employed as a truck driver for many years and was licensed minister.
He is survived by his wife, Vickie Rogers; four children, Amy (Billy) Smith, Danny (Omaira) Berry, Jennifer (Tanner) Thrasher, and Shawn Eyler; two brothers, Irwin "Jimmy " Rogers and Brian (Won mi) Rogers; ten grandchildren, Olivia, Logan, Nick, Caleb, Lauren, Connor, Alora, Tatiana, Natalie, Isabella, and Luke; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ramona Eyler; and sister-in-law, Marlene Rogers.
Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at 11:30 AM with Rev. Larry Peters officiating. Private committal service will be held at Dayton National Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the funeral home.
