Linda S. (Maggard) Pugh, age 74 of Hamilton, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. Linda was born in London, Kentucky on June 20, 1946 to Samuel Maggard and Daisy (Garland) Webb.
Spending time with Linda could be relaxed and intimate, or laughing out loud until your stomach hurt. Although she was a Midwest girl through and through, she loved her time living in Miami, Florida enjoying the warm weather and sunshine and sound of the waves on the beach. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
As my wife, Linda, was the love of my life. It was literal love at first sight when I saw her cutting the grass. Our first date was to get ice cream and the sweetness lasted for over 30 years.
As a mom, Linda was our family cornerstone. She held our hand through our struggles, celebrated with us in our triumphs and helped to fill any of our needs.
Collectively, what we truly admire most was her resilience and strength through the many trials she faced. She showed no fear, loved fiercely, and always spoke her truth. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten!
Linda's legacy continues through her husband, Ronald W. Pugh; daughters, Jacki (Janssen) Perry, Shonda (Janssen) Kaiser and Christy (Baumwald) Cyrus; brother, Jeff Webb; stepchildren, Monica Pugh Satterwhite and Anthony Pugh; grandchildren, Shelby Kaiser, Karly Perry, Jordan Kaiser, Hayli Cyrus, Korrin Perry, Jack Perry, Joshua Perry, Kyli Cyrus-Tappe and 6 great-grandchildren. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Maggard and Daisy Webb; her husband Jack David Janssen; siblings, Albert Maggard, Paul Maggard and Richard Maggard.
Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery at 10:00AM on Saturday, June 19th, 2021. Visitation will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., Hamilton, OH 45013 on Saturday, June 19, 2021 from 11:00AM - 11:30AM followed by a Celebration of Life Ceremony at 11:30AM at the funeral home.
