Linda J. Roark

Linda J. Roark, age 69 of Hamilton passed away at Fort Hamilton Hospital on Friday, February 26, 2010 at 12:21 PM. She was born in Cleveland on September 24, 1940 the daughter of Christian and Gertrude (Aiken) Moe. Linda was a member of the Moose Lodge #28 auxiliary, VFW post 1069 auxiliary, and the American Legion Post #138 auxiliary. In 1971 she was married to Henry Roark Jr. in Hamilton.

She is survived by her husband Henry Roark Jr. of Hamilton; a daughter, Susan Armbruster and her husband James and their son Jimmy Armbruster III of Monroe, whom Linda was very devoted to; her son, Michael Reece of Sierra Vista, Arizona; her twin brother, Wayne Moe and his wife Doris of Springfield, Oregon; two sisters, Shirley Wimmer and her husband Jim of Hamilton, and Marlene Bader and her husband Joseph of Hamilton; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Charles Petit of New Beginning Tabernacle officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
