Lois Winifred Jones

Lois Winifred Jones, 87, of New Miami, Ohio passed away on August 15, 2021 in Hamilton, Ohio. She was born on April 23, 1934 in Confluence, KY to the late Mose and Ella (Deaton) Feltner. She married her beloved husband Preston Jones on February 4th, 1956. She attended New Miami Church of God (now Rivers of Life) for over 50 years. She was a devoted member and Sunday school teacher. A friend, an aunt, and grandma to many, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking, sewing, and fishing. She was often employed as a seamstress and worked for various companies in the Hamilton/Fairfield area. She is survived by her husband Preston Jones; grandson Kyle (Layne) Sears, granddaughter Kersti (Tim) Newberry, and many more who called her Grandma, including Jessica and Eric Johnson; great grandchildren Makenna, Matthew, and Micah Newberry, and Harper Sears; friends who became family Mary (Mark) Tassell, and Mark Sears, sister Julie (Chuck) Turner, brothers Ozial (Bell), Mose “Junior” (Linda), and Bobby (Kathy) Feltner; and numerous nieces and nephews. Lois was preceded in death by brothers Eugene, Wallace, and Donald Feltner and sister Norma Lee Turner.

Friends may call on Saturday, August 21st, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 NOON at Rivers of Life Church, New Miami, Ohio. A Celebration of Lois' Life, will begin at 12:00 NOON at Rivers of Life Church. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park Cemetery, Trenton.
