Margie A. Geckler

Margie A. (Bader) Geckler, age 75, of Hamilton passed away at her residence on Saturday October 13, 2012 at 11:12AM. She was born in Hamilton on March 7, 1937. The daughter of Ralph and Ruth (Schlabach) Bader. Margie worked for Clayton Scroggins Management for many years and was a member of the Immanuel Luthern Church. She also enjoyed spent time with friends at the Forest Park Women’s Club and also the Bridge Club. On May 7th 1988 in Hamilton she married Henry R. "Hank" Geckler and he preceded her in death in 2007.

She is survived by one brother, Donald (Kate) Bader of Brookville, IN; one sister, Nancy Ruhland of Hamilton; and three nephews, Chris (Mary) Bader of Florida, Steve (Kim) Bader of Hamilton, and Russell (Tina) Ruhland of Oregon. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial services will be held at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave. on Wednesday Oct. 17, 2012 at 11AM, with Rev. Edwin Beck officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday Oct. 17, 2012 from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial contributions be made to the Golden Endings Golden Retriever Rescue at 3689 Hilliard Station Road, Hilliard, OH 43026.
