Marie Batten

Marie Batten, age 77 of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. Marie was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 17, 1944 to the late Paul and Sylvia (Hafertepen) Luneack. Marie was an associate at J.C. Penny in Colerain for over 20 years, retiring in 2010. In retirement, she volunteered at Fort Hamilton Hospital in the gift shop. Marie enjoyed travelling to the beach, spending time in her garden, decorating, and spending time with her numerous animals. Above all, she loved spending time with her family. Marie will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 49 years, Skip Batten; her daughters, Robin Romero and Beth (John Clifton) Batten; her grandson, Brad; her great-grandchildren, Tyler and Natalie; her siblings, Genny Behne and David Luneack; as well as many extended family members, close friends, and her fur-baby, Gizmo “Pup”. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 5:00 PM until the time of her Memorial Service at 7:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio.
