Marilyn Work

Marilyn Work, age 76 of West Chester, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2023. Marilyn was born in Hamilton, Ohio on October 27, 1946 to the late Charles Hubbard /Johnnie Jones and Edna (Combs) Alder. She married John L. Work on May 9th, 1980. Marilyn retired from Avon & was a member of The Eagles, Moose & American Legion Clubs

Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Amanda (Jeremy) Gibbs; her step-children, Teresa (Marty) Lane, Julie Work-Worth, John (Patty) Work Jr., Terry (Joan) Work; grandchildren, Ashlyn, Brittany, Darrick, Curtis, Carson, Rachel Work, Sara Jo Work, Cole Work, Austin Work, Sabrina, and David; her several great-grandchildren; sister, Rhonda Jo Hubbard-Price.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, John Work; her parents, Charles Hubbard and Edna Alder; her children, Darrell Jones and Melanie Work; her brother, Earnest Jones.

Marilyn and John Spent 36 wonderful years together and we know he was at the gates of heaven greeting her with arms wide open. Her family will miss her contagious smile and laughter.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 12:00 PM with Pastor Earl Baker officiating. The family would like to invite everyone directly after the funeral service to continue celebrating the life of Marilyn. The celebration of life will be from 1:30 to 7:00 PM at 4675 Summit Woods Drive, West Chester 45069.

Burial will be held privately. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Hamilton.
