Mary P. Hannahs

Mary P. Hannahs, age 78 of Hamilton, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. Mary passed away at Glen Meadows Nursing Home with her daughter Jennifer holding her hand. Mary was born in Hamilton, Ohio on March 16, 1943 to Alfronzo McKiddy and Gertrude (Donelan) McKiddy. 

Mary was a woman of faith who diligently sent prayers for others in need. She will be remembered for her kind heart. She worked for years as a secretary in Hamilton, Ohio and also provided expert resume service to launch many careers. Mary enjoyed baking, gardening, crafting, dancing, and most of all spending time with family.

Mary is survived by her husband, William Hannahs; her children, Ellen (Michael) Tulanko, Michael (Laura) Dailey, Anne (Randy) Barger, Jennifer Dailey (Robert Merz), and Theresa (Scott) Calihan; her grandchildren, Kristina, Rebecca, Jacob, Jack, Margo, Hannah, Alec, Joshua, Jessica (O'Brien), Robert (Dabney), Ciara (Austin), Ja’quan, Tyler, Amber, and Crystal; her great grandchildren, Emma, Ava, Tyler, Jadia, Ja’auna, Kaylee, King, Alayah, Amira, Giovanni, Caiden, Greyson, Zuri, McKinsley, and Paisley; and one brother in law Paul Heward. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Alfronzo McKiddy and Gertrude McKiddy; her step-father Richard Day; her brother, William McKiddy; and her lifelong friend Jeanie Hibbard.

Graveside service will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 4020 Pleasant Ave, Hamilton, OH 45015, on Friday, January 28, 2022 at 2:00PM.
