Mason Kash Burton

Mason Kash Burton, age 24 of Hamilton, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2016 at 5:45PM. He was born in Hamilton on November 27, 1991 to Robert and Jody (Stewart) Burton. Mason worked as a fisherman on a Charter Fishing Boat in Florida. Mason’s hobbies included fishing, hunting, and being outdoors.

He is survived by his mother, Jody Burton of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; his father Robert (Amanda) Burton of Hamilton; his sister Madison Katelynne Burton of Hamilton; his brother Maxwell Kane Burton of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; grandfather, Dennis Burton of Hamilton; great grandmother, Lucille Simmons, of Winter Haven, FL; grandparents, Gary and Sally Thomas of Hamilton; and numerous other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his biological father Mark Thomas; grandparents, Robert and Phyllis Stewart; grandmother, Connie Burton; and great grandfather, Eugene Simmons.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., on Thursday July 7, 2016 at 7PM with Pastor Curtus Moak and Pastor Dave Garrett officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5PM-7PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home in Mason’s name for funeral expenses.
