Mildred L. Hibbard Proffitt

Mildred L. Hibbard Proffitt, age 83 of Hamilton passed away at her residence on Monday November 5, 2012. She was born on March 8, 1929 the daughter of John and Ninnie (Humfleet) Chesnut. Mildred was a member of Fairfield Eagles and Lindenwald Baptist Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Donna (Mike) Saylor of Hamilton; a brother, William (Kathy) Chesnut of Hamilton; four grandchildren, Nick Saylor of Hamilton, Vanessa (Leroy) Sapp of Nitro, West Virginia, Brian (Angel) Mercer of Hamilton, and Shannon (Richard Isaac) Hilton of Hamilton; ten great-grandchildren, Bruce, Xavier, Caleb, Ashley, Faith, Danielle, Karly, Brian, Briana, and Daymond; and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Daymond Hibbard; two brothers, Arthur Chesnut and Leonard Chesnut; and a sister, Edith Catron.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 10:30 AM with Rev. Jacob Flannery officiating. Burial will follow in Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM.
