Paul Henson

Paul Henson, age 75 of Warren, passed away at West Chester Hospital on Saturday, September 8, 2018. Paul was born in Manchester, Kentucky on October 7, 1942 to Taylor "Blue" Henson and Daisy Smith Henson. Paul was a deacon at Bailey Road Baptist Church, North Jackson, OH. He retired from General Motors in 1999 after 31 years of service. Paul was a very generous and giving man who had a heart of gold. Paul never met a stranger who didn’t love or respect him. He loved to talk about the days when he lived in the hills of Kentucky with his two brothers and sister. Paul loved his soup beans, corn bread and fried potatoes. "You might have taken the hillbilly out of Kentucky, but you can’t take the Kentucky out of the hillbilly."

Paul is survived by his children, William Paul Henson, Jim "Peanut" (Crystal) Henson, Laura (Ron) McDaniel and Brenda (Stephen) Willis; 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; siblings, Laura Jean Perry, Jr. Ray Henson and JC Henson. Paul was preceded in death by the love of his life, Georgina Napier Henson; parents, Taylor "Blue" and Daisy Henson; granddaughter, Lurae’ Henson.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 12:00 PM with Rev. Dave Garrett officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery.
