Randall Gene Hanes

Randall Gene “Randy” Hanes, age 65 of New Miami, passed away at his residence on Friday, August 6, 2021. He was born in Greenfield, Ohio on December 5, 1955 to James Ralph Hanes Sr. and Barbara Joan (Ursell) Hanes. Randy was a veteran of the United States Air Force from 1977 to 1981 and employed at AK Steel for twenty years, retiring in 2018.

Randy is survived by his daughter, Ashley Nichole Hanes; three sisters, Connie (Clark) Moore, Nikki Whitaker, and Susan Hanes; five grandchildren, Landyn, Caleb, Kiley, Branson, and Brooklyn; two step daughters, Tasha (Justin) Frame and Christina (David) Kennard; three best friends, Tim (Penny) Kellum, Richard (Diana) Hinkel, and Dave Thomas; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Randy was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Tim and Jamie Hanes.

A memorial gathering will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio , on Friday August 20, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with military honors to follow.
