Ross Lovins, age 71 of New Miami, passed away at Fort Hamilton Hospital on Saturday, April 3, 2021. Ross was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 17, 1949 to the late Hobart and Florida Mae (Maynus) Lovins. He graduated from Reading High School, class of 1967. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and proudly served his country, earning the rank of Sergeant. He went on to work for General Electric, retiring after more than 30 years. He served as pastor to the Monroe House of Prayer. Ross enjoyed riding motorcycles, living the cowboy way of life, and was proud of his involvement in the community. He will be dearly remembered as a kind, caring man that loved God, his family, and friends.
Ross will be missed by his brother, Charles (Halsey) Cruies; his grand-daughter, Kelsey Coffey; his son-in-law; Brad Coffey; his special cousin, Judy Minks; as well as many extended family members and close friends.
Ross will be reunited in Heaven with his wife, Edna Lovins and his children, Vanessa Coffey and Daryll Gene Lovins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 from 11:00 AM until the time of his Funeral Service at 12:00 NOON at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio 45011. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
