Steven W. Crouch

Steven W. Crouch, age 68 of Hamilton, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2023. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on September 5, 1954 to the late Arvie B. Crouch Jr. and Cora Ellen (Owens) Crouch.

Steven is survived by his wife, Pamela R. Crouch; daughter, Cassandra M. (Alex) Silkowski; grandsons Harrison A. and Wesley Steven Silkowski; brothers Gerald S. and Joseph A. Crouch; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Steve graduated from Taft High School in 1972. He went on to work at Armco Steele for 30 years. On February 9th, 1991 he married Pamela Bailey, and they had one daughter, Cassie.

No one who met Steve will forget his humor. He was an admired older brother. When younger, he enjoyed playing tennis and basketball. He was also a life-long Bengals, Ohio State, and Reds fan. Steve was a voracious reader; he would return from the library with dozens of books and read them all within a few days. He was well-versed in politics and history and could rattle off facts with an encyclopedic-like knowledge. Steven’s greatest legacy, though, was as a loving, doting father who worked tirelessly to provide for his family.

A visitation will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, until the time of the funeral service at 4:00 PM, with Pastor Barry Wilson officiating.
