Steven D. Spicer

Steven D. Spicer, age 69 of New Miami, also known as “The Mayor”, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023. Steven was born in Hamilton, Ohio on February 25, 1954 to Thomas Spicer and Irene (Flannery) Spicer. He served in the United States Navy on the USS Kitty Hawk. Steve was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend who could comfort you with just the touch of his hand. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, tinkering in the garage, and spending time with his family.

Steven is survived by his wife of 42 years, Judith Spicer; children, Steven W. Spicer, Ashley (John) Besanceney, Tina (Tony) Widner, Francine (James) Horton, and Michele (Robert) Miller; a special nephew, Benjamin Spicer; and a shit ton of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Steven was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Tommy, Eddie, Jerry, Benny, and Dicky; son-in-law, DJ Roark; granddaughter, Jessica Ann; great-granddaughter, Madison; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, 45011. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at 12:00 PM with Connie Abner officiating.  Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery.
